Typhoon Moulded Blade ceiling fans are now available from Hunter Pacific International. The Typhoon ceiling fan range now features new moulded blades that make them quieter and safer to use in schools, bedrooms, and other areas where accidental contact with ceiling fans is more likely to occur.

The Typhoon ceiling fans’ new injection-moulded plastic blades offer strong airflow, and are available in a range of colours to complement the fan’s motor.

Typhoon ceiling fan motors are available in white, brushed chrome or 316 stainless steel, with matching moulded blades in white, brushed silver and clear.

The fan blades are high-quality plywood, not cheap MDF, and are finished, sealed and painted to ensure longevity and good looks.

Finish is first-class and surpasses all competing products in terms of presentation and functionality. 'Budget' only applies to the price when it comes to Intercept fans.

          INTERCEPT (With Light)

If you prefer a product with even MORE to offer, may we suggest the Intercept fan with integrated light fitting.

These lights have been specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the overall fan architecture and in fact, even enhance the appearance of the fan with its modern, yet timeless design.

The light fitting comes in two versions. A conventional 100W halogen lamp or a 26W energy efficient fluorescent lamp with an Energy Efficiency Index of A2 (one of the highest possible). Replacement lamps are commonly available.

The type of lamp included is indicated on the carton by a tick-box, please check carefully when choosing your fan.

Both the fans come with 3 speed wall-control switches, but can be fitted with optional remote controls or integrated into home automation systems.

Available in White or Brushed Aluminium.

Weather proofing of lights: make sure your spot lights have the correct IP water proof rating for your property. a lot of external fittings are only suitable for under cover where they do not get direct rain on them. Only your Local Master Electrician can help advise you on where you can put these units and what fittings are suitable for out side that are in the weather or could be hosed. also that the installation included the correct parts and waterproofing we find a lot of lights failing due to this problem because the supplier has supplied a inferior product or the installer failed to understand their requirements.
