Custom RCD protected data racks.
The Australian Wiring Rules Standards requiring all socket outlets 20Amps or
under to be protected by Safety Switches.
To comply with this all Data centres and Data racks socket power outlets will
now be required to be protected by safety switches as well.
Computers and electronic equipment are known to have high level of imbalances
in there design and use therefore they can trip safety switches when too many
items are loaded onto one circuit.
To overcome this requires the circuits to be measured and balanced over the
available supplies or extra safety switches and circuits be provided.
"A U Sparky" are specialists in this field and can assist with design and
implementation of the correct equipment to stop nuisance tripping of Computers
and Data Equipment and to make sure your project complies to Australian
Standards.

We are developing specialised Racks for this purpose.

We understand there is discussion regarding adjusting the
Rules for safety switches on some specialised equipment to avoid intermittent
tripping, our advise is that if someone doesn't want to use a safety switch, get
a new adviser or contractor, as there is always a engineered solution available
and we are always available for advice.
